Last night I faced an interesting albeit naive problem in Linux. As you probably know, you need to mount a CD or DVD disk to view its contents and after that you have to unmount otherwise it won’t come out of the drive. What happened with me was, when I tried to unmount the disk [...]

They have done it again! What was supposed to be a comeback match for them after two consecutive heavy defeats, has now turned around to be another fairy tale! Bangladesh have beaten the currently number 1 ranked team and that too in a convincing style. I had great fun last night watching the BD batting. [...]

I read Dilbert daily. It only concentrates on office environment and situations happening our work lives. Some of them really matches one’s practical experience. Like these two for me -
Recently I have come across this truth; doing some work is equally (if not more) important to properly explaining your superior what you did. If you [...]

I was delighted to hear this news on TV the other day. DMP is introducing new service for obtaining police clearance certificates. I really really welcome the initiative. I know what it took to obtain that certificate through the current system and hope it will be easier from now on. Read the full news here.
